Paddington Bear |
Paddington
bear is a character created by Michael Bond in 1958. He is an
immigrant bear from darkest Peru, wearing an old hat and coat. He has a suitcase
with a secret compartment and loves marmalade sandwiches. Paddington is
endlessly getting into trouble, but is always trying "so hard to get
things right".

Paddington was very popular with my children. (And I enjoyed reading them to them in the days before they could read themselves).
ReplyDeleteI must read this :) His character is similar to mine when I'm turning on the bear inside of me :)) I want to do the good things but erm... they turn out to slightly differ from these planned :)) I am SURE he is my brother. Have already found the stories in Russian, the titles sound great - Wet Story, Paddington and DIY...
