Paddington Bear

Paddington bear is a character created by Michael Bond in 1958. He is an immigrant bear from darkest Peru, wearing an old hat and coat. He has a suitcase with a secret compartment and loves marmalade sandwiches. Paddington is endlessly getting into trouble, but is always trying "so hard to get things right".

  1. Paddington was very popular with my children. (And I enjoyed reading them to them in the days before they could read themselves).

    1. I must read this :) His character is similar to mine when I'm turning on the bear inside of me :)) I want to do the good things but erm... they turn out to slightly differ from these planned :)) I am SURE he is my brother. Have already found the stories in Russian, the titles sound great - Wet Story, Paddington and DIY...
